Seasonal Expressions 2 New Product Blog Hop

Not only has it finally warmed up here in Virginia, but the newest Seasonal Expressions Idea Book from Close To My Heart is out, too! Double bonus!! You're in for a treat as you hop around over 40 consultants blogs to find inspiration and creativity abounding. If you get lost along the way, see the full list here.

Thanks for visiting from Terry Ann Diack's blog.

I used one of the NEW mini albums (there are two!) from the Seasonal Expressions 2 to make a Father's Day mini album for my dad. I wish I'd been more on the ball to print out some of the adorable pics I'm going to include of my dad with my two sons. For now, you'll have to just imagine photos on the pages!

Materials used:
  • My Creations Mini Mix Album, Z3069
  • Jackson Paper Packet, X7195B
  • Jackson Picture My Life Cards, Z3068
  • Boardwalk Washi Tape Pack, Z3066

My Happy Life Mini Album

Admit it ladies, you hold on to all of those little scraps and shapes you cut from your Cricut Artiste, I know you do.  Well, I know I do and that several of my workshop gals do, too (you know who you are!).  If you want a super cute and creative way to use those scraps, CTMH has the answer for you...a mini album!  Check out the great step by step video by CTMH VP, Christine Whitfeld:

Six Weeks of Halloween - Week Three

Just 28 more days until Halloween (so say my Halloween Countdown Blocks), and today is the first day of my after school program, Halloween Scrapbooking.

I'm excited to teach nine elementary students (I have two boys in my class this time, hooray!) how to cut, stamp and embellish their way into the art of scrapbooking.  And, with this sweet little Halloween Mini Album, they'll enjoy their work for years to come.

I used Close To My Heart's Quick Pic Album (Z1407) for perfect 6x6 layouts.  I also used some retired products that I gobbled up last year from the Hooligans paper pack.  Each student will get a Hooligans Level 1 Scrapbooking Kit that includes four preprinted pages, two B&T Duos, two Cardstock Sheets and two My Stickease Adhesive Sheets.  They'll also get the My Stickease Hooligans Assortment, Boutiques Monster Mash (those adorable felt monsters with googly eyes) and a package of Mini-Medley in Pear.  Check out their stash below:

I can't wait to see what they come up with!  And, I can't wait to see what YOU come up with, either.  I have four of these kits (album in olive green or pansy purple, the paper, stickease, and all the embellishments) available for just $30!!!  Leave me a comment or email me here if you're interested!

Want one of these albums for yourself?  Like my facebook page and on October 31st I'll pick one lucky winner to receive a completed Halloween Mini-Album, sent to them FREE!  Head over to my facebook page and Like it now!

Starbreeze Designs Camera Album

Happy Monday!

My dear friend, Laura Petruso, of Starbreeze Designs, created this amazing mini album to be auctioned off for Operation Smile last Spring.  She even got a special compliment from Kristine Whitfeld, CTMH VP of Marketing for her beautiful execution and detail!  Well, I could say that I was just very bighearted and wanted to help a wonderful cause when I kept raising the bids to win it, but really I just HAD to have it!

I just love the layered lens that she distressed.  And, she used products in ways I'd never thought of.  Here are a few of the pages inside.  As you can see, her details carry throughout.

Thanks for stopping by to look.  And, thanks to Laura for such inspiring artwork!
